Job Title: Personnel Analyst III

Grade: 17
Salary: $91,704 or commensurate with experience
Location: 69 West Washington Street, Chicago, Illinois
Job Summary and Duties- Backup to Payroll Supervisor, including all aspects of timekeeping and payroll duties
- Maintain spreadsheet of employment application information
- Administer clerical skills testing to employment applicants as needed
- Assist with FMLA case management
- Record, organize, and distribute AOIC probation applications
- General administrative duties: type correspondence, memoranda, and other documents, create spreadsheets and keep statistics, scan documents, file documents and other materials, answer telephones and direct calls
- Perform receptionist duties for Human Resources Department as needed
- Order supplies for the Human Resources Department
- Ensure that incoming and outgoing mail is properly retrieved and distributed
- Process requests and schedule identification badge appointments for new hires and existing employees as needed
- Assist with annual CCLRE Mock Trial program as needed
- Data entry
- Run reports as directed
- Other responsibilities as operational needs require and as directed by the Human Resources Administrator or the Chief Judge
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Familiarity with human resource information systems and payroll systems preferred
- Excellent customer service delivery
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to interact professionally with court personnel, court users, and the public
- Ability and willingness to get along with others
- Computer skills, including excellent typing skills and the ability to create documents and spreadsheets in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multi‑task

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
- On a continuous basis, sit at a desk for long periods of time in front of a computer screen
- Intermittently twist to reach equipment or supplies surrounding desk
- Perform simple grasping and fine manipulation
- Strength to lift files
- Use telephone and computer keyboard on a daily basis
