The Division of Family and Community Services seeks a Public Aid Eligibility Assistant located in the Medical Field Operations North. The assistant will support routine casework by screening and registering applications, sorting documents, maintaining supplies and forms, and performing office receptionist duties.
Essential Functions- Screen and register applications, sort incoming documents, maintain office supplies and forms, and provide receptionist support to staff.
- Identify and sort documents arriving in the office.
- Prepare files that protect customer confidentiality, answer inquiries, direct patients to professional staff, and enter information into eligibility systems.
- Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the above responsibilities.
- High school completion or equivalent.
- One year of clerical supportive experience in the Department of Human Services or equivalent training and experience.
Mon–Fri, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, 1‑hour unpaid lunch.
