Overview
Volunteers are essential to our mission here at Planned Parenthood of Illinois. We are excited that you’ve chosen to uplift our mission to provide affordable healthcare, no matter what. Our volunteers support us in various ways throughout the year. During the summer we focus on visibility and supporter appreciation. We are often out and about all around the Chicagoland area, tabling at health fairs and city colleges, and participating in street festivals, block parties, concerts, farmers markets and pride events throughout the city.
Responsibilities- Engage in community outreach by tabling at events across the Chicagoland area, including health fairs, city colleges, street festivals, block parties, concerts, farmers markets and pride events.
- Provide administrative support at our office, including data entry, volunteer screening, button making, and general administrative tasks.
The next steps include a phone screening and volunteer orientation. After orientation, you will begin receiving weekly emails with future and ongoing volunteer opportunities. For questions or concerns, please contact volunteer.
