Position: Central Matching Team Support Staff

Central Matching Team Support Staff

The Central Matching Team Support Staff provides administrative, technical, and coordination support for Aunt Martha's Clinical Intervention for Placement Preservation (CIPP) and Discharge Clinical Intervention for Placement Preservation (D-CIPP) programs. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Centralized Matching Team, casework staff, provider agencies, and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to ensure timely and accurate referral processing.

Reporting to the Administrator, this position is responsible for maintaining referral documentation, managing data across multiple systems, coordinating communication between internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the efficient operation of the Central Matching Team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where communication, organization, and accuracy are critical to supporting children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the liaison between staffing entities, casework staff, provider agencies, and the Centralized Matching Team.
  • Coordinate referral communications and ensure all required documentation accompanies agency referrals.
  • Prioritize emergency referrals to ensure timely matching and placement.
  • Work closely with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) Clinical Division regarding staffing processes, referral coordination, and case oversight.
  • Maintain accurate information within Central Matching, Central E-Filing, IMSA, and other required systems.
  • Perform routine data entry and maintain electronic documentation.
  • Generate, review, and analyze reports supporting program operations.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of referral and case information.
  • Provide technical assistance to staff regarding referral systems and data management processes.
  • Assist with monitoring referral workflows and matching activities.
  • Provide backup support for centralized email communications and referral correspondence.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and other administrative projects as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments, provider agencies, and DCFS partners.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in child welfare, behavioral health, healthcare, or human services.
  • Experience with data management and case management systems.
  • Knowledge of SACWIS, RTOS, IMSA, or similar databases is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current automobile insurance.
  • Must be able to work on-site at both the SEDAC office (8460 S. South Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL 60617) and the Park Forest location as business needs require.
