Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in shaping visitor impressions and keeping our daily administrative workflows running smoothly.
Responsibilities- Visitor Hospitality: Warmly greet and welcome clients, candidates, and guests upon arrival and notify internal staff members of guest arrivals.
- Phone Management: Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls professionally while taking accurate messages when necessary.
- Mail & Deliveries: Sort and distribute daily incoming mail, packages, and couriers; prepare outgoing shipments (Fed Ex/UPS/USPS).
- Lobby & Front Desk Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy reception area and main conference rooms.
- Administrative Support: Assist various departments with basic clerical tasks such as data entry, photocopying, scanning files, and assembling meeting materials as needed.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required. - Experience:
0–2 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or retail environment. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor. - Technical Proficiency:
Comfortable using standard office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and multi-line phone systems. - Reliability:
Punctuality and dependable attendance are a must for this role. - Time Management:
Ability to manage minor interruptions gracefully and prioritize basic tasks independently.
Salary: $20 – $20.23 per hour
Shift: First
Work hours:
8 AM – 5 PM
