Receptionist Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at Park View in Chicago, Illinois. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth transition for our residents. Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient files and correspondence
  • Monitor and respond to patient requests and concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate staff members as necessary
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, tests, and treatments, and coordinate with healthcare providers and vendors
  • Provide administrative support to the care team, including preparing reports, charts, and other documents
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our care team.

Requirements
  • 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
