The Mom Project is proud to partner with a well-established, growing company in the steel and manufacturing industry to find a Part-Time Corporate Office Manager
. This organization has a strong history of serving customers across the country and is looking for an organized, dependable professional to support the day-to-day operations of its corporate office.
The Corporate Office Manager ensures that the office runs smoothly and efficiently and supports the executive team as needed.
- Office Operations and Facilities Management
- Oversee day-to-day administration, including mail routing, facility maintenance, and office supply inventory.
- Serve as the primary liaison for on-site vendors and building management.
- Manage and optimize office policies, procedures, and workflows
- Event and travel Planning and Management
- Responsible for organizing all logistics for corporate meetings, board meetings, conferences, parties, and conventions.
- Set and maintain strict budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Vendor Management:
Scout, inspect, and book venues. Solicit bids and negotiate contracts with caterers, AV technicians, decorators, and entertainment. - Logistics Coordination:
Manage attendee registration, transportation, and accommodations. Create detailed timelines and "run-of-show" documents. - Event Execution:
Oversee on-site setup, manage staff and volunteers, and problem-solve emergencies in real-time. - Post-Event:
Send surveys, process final vendor payments, and report on event success metrics - Executive team support (as needed)
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and presentations as needed.
- Organization & Multitasking:
Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Tech Savvy:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside the aptitude to learn new software. - Communication:
Clear, polite, and professional written and verbal communication skills for engaging with customers and coworkers. - Discretion:
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential company information with tact and diplomacy. - Prior experience:
Prior experience in a professional environment along with event planning experience is a must. - Education:
Typically requires a High School Diploma or GED, though some organizations prefer an Associate's or Bachelor's degree
