Executive Assistant

Our company is actively seeking an Executive Assistant to our Chief Financial and Growth Officers in Chicago. In this role, you will provide executive and administrative support to multiple leaders, serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external matters pertaining to these leaders and their functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission and results driven.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong administrative skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to manage a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks, including manage multiple active calendars of appointments and travel, complete expense reports, compose and prepare correspondence that is sometimes confidential, arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas, secure handling of Finance mail and checks, and compile documents for travel-related meetings.
  • Plan, coordinate and ensure schedules are followed.
  • Communicate with Cresset leadership team, staff, and others, on matters related to functional initiatives.
  • Research, prioritizes, and follows up on matters and concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between leaders and internal departments; demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility and trust.
  • Work closely and effectively with leaders and stay well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
  • Build relationships and manage a variety of special projects, including but not limited to project management of ongoing, short- and long-term initiatives, planning and scheduling of onsite and virtual interview panels, and upkeep and maintenance of business documents, including business continuity plans.
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on assignments to successful completion, often with deadline pressure.
  • Create compelling and well-organized presentations and reports by gathering and compiling information.
  • Partner and collaborate with Executive Assistants and Office Experience team on onsite and offsite events and activities.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned or required.
