We are looking for a detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to support daily shipping and package handling operations for a Contract position. This role focuses on coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, selecting practical shipping methods, and keeping mailroom activities organized and accurate. The ideal candidate brings hands-on mailroom experience, familiarity with major carriers, and a dependable approach to administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, parcels, and courier deliveries in a timely manner.
• Prepare outgoing packages and documentation to ensure shipments are processed correctly and sent on schedule.
• Evaluate delivery needs and choose economical shipping solutions that align with timing and service requirements.
• Work with carriers such as Fed Ex, USPS, and ground delivery providers to arrange pickups and track shipments.
• Maintain organized mailroom records, logs, and shipping details with a high level of accuracy.
• Inspect package labels, addresses, and contents for completeness to reduce delays and delivery errors.
• Provide day-to-day support to office staff by responding to shipping questions and coordinating package-related requests.
