Job DescriptionAECOM/Hunt has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Project Administrative Assistant to support our ongoing construction at Chicago's ORD airport.
- Work includes some of or all of the following:
- prepares or proofs correspondence
- forms
- spreadsheets or documents
- schedules meetings
- makes travel arrangements
- maintains inventory of office supplies.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish more complicated goals.
- Uses Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other programs to accomplish work.
- HSD/GED and 6 years of administrative experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- College degree or completion of college courses is preferred.
- Advanced education in the field of Business or similar curriculum.
- Experience working in the field of construction as an administrative assistant.
- Experience supporting large complex project teams.
- Strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc).
- Ability to work independently.
- Construction site experience.
- Prior experience in managing multiple schedules for leadership teams.
- Experience organizing/storing/managing large amounts of data.
- Office experience and the ability to maintain a highly professional demeanor.
- This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.
- Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
- Candidate will work on-site at O'Hare airport, parking is available.
- In order to receive a security badge at the client worksite to enable access to secure portions of the facility for which you are being hired to perform services, you may be required to pass the client's security screening process, which will include, but may not be limited to, Homeland Security background check and fingerprinting. Should this be required it will be done after you have commenced employment, and your participation in that process and a pass rating by the client are both conditions of your continued employment by AECOM.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $28.7 to $50.2.
