Assistant Media Planner; Entry Level

GRP Media is currently seeking to fill an ASSISTANT MEDIA PLANNER position in its Chicago office.

We are a full service, data-driven media planning and buying agency located on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. Our client roster includes American Century Investments, Amplify ETFs, Bullfrog Spas, Lurie Children's Hospital, Perma-Seal, Propane Education & Research Council and Rush Health.

This year, GRP Media celebrates its 30th year in business.

Candidates must be self-starters, organized, curious, proactive, comfortable juggling multiple tasks, able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively and very comfortable working with numbers. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is absolutely critical. You will be expected to be able to work independently within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Some advertising-related professional or college experience is highly desirable.

You will be assigned to a team or teams working on a specific roster of clients. Responsibilities will include budget management, invoicing, data entry, data analysis, etc. You will be trained on all aspects of media planning and stewardship with the goal of being promoted to the role of Media Planner within 12 months. As an entry level employee, you will receive formal performance feedback each month for your first 6 months of employment with the goal of helping you get on a steady development and learning track during your first few months in the position.

Candidates must live in the Chicagoland area and be able to commute to our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
