Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Bucktown

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full‑time automotive detailer. The starting rate of pay is $17.50 per hour based on a 40‑hour work week and is located at 1842 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647.

• Sunday: 7:45 am–12:00 pm
• Monday: 7:00 am–6:00 pm
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 7:00 am–6:00 pm
• Friday: 7:00 am–6:00 pm
• Saturday: 7:45 am–1:00 pm

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle’s exterior – cars, vans and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset/restore vehicle settings; check for customer items and place valuable items in Lost & Found; verify registration is present and current
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure and tread; examine exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights or damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exterior of branch locations
• Additional cleaning tasks related to branch location cleanliness (desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, sweeping lot)

• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than one moving violation or at‑fault accident on driving record in past three years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require work authorization sponsorship by the company now or in the future.
