Job Summary

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair customer vehicles in a professional dealership service environment. Your responsibilities will be matched to your skill level, with opportunities to advance through hands-on experience, manufacturer training, and support from experienced team members.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs based on your experience level.
  • Complete services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, alignments, fluid services, and multi-point inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, transmission, drivability, and other mechanical concerns as your skills allow.
  • Use diagnostic tools, service information, and manufacturer guidelines to complete accurate repairs.
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors about vehicle findings, repair recommendations, and estimated timelines.

  • ASE certification, Ford training, dealership experience, or technical school training is a plus, but not required for every role.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to safely use shop tools and equipment; diagnostic tool experience is preferred for advanced technician opportunities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift parts and tools as needed and work in a fast-paced dealership service environment.
What We Offer

  • Work-Life Balance: Paid time off and holidays.
  • Training and advancement through mentorship, certification support, and growth within Murgado Automotive Group
  • Employee Perks: Discounts on vehicles, parts, and services.
  • Supportive Culture: A collaborative and inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued.
