GM Automotive Technician - Union Shop Napleton Downtown Chicago | Full-Time

The Napleton Automotive Group has been family-owned and operated since 1931 — nearly a century of selling and servicing vehicles through every kind of market. Today we're one of the larger privately held dealer groups in the country, with dealerships across multiple states, and we've grown by keeping good people. Many of our technicians and managers have been with us for decades.

Our Downtown Chicago location is hiring experienced GM technicians. We're a union shop offering negotiated wages, union health benefits, and the backing of a dealer group that's been here for generations — and plans to be here for generations more.

• Union wages per the collective bargaining agreement

• Perform repairs per the repair order, following dealership procedures
• Diagnose vehicles using GM diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Complete warranty repairs to GM specifications
• Communicate with your service advisor on additional needed repairs and estimates
• Complete required GM training

• GM dealership experience as an automotive technician
• Solid diagnostic skills and comfort with electronic diagnostic equipment
• Own tools
• A team player who keeps learning as the technology changes
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
