As a Senior Value Consultant
, you will lead and guide prospects and customers through the end-to-end customer value journey (landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing). You will champion data‑driven business transformation and ensure customers realize measurable business value and financial impact from their Amplitude investment. As a trusted advisor and core member of the account team, you’ll work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Professional Services to manage the full customer lifecycle, translating use cases and objectives into qualitative and quantitative business value assessments—both forward-looking and retroactive.
You will help drive adoption and value realization via use case discovery and maturity workshops and will be the face of Amplitude to some of the world’s largest enterprises. This role offers a direct influence on revenue and growth trajectory. Candidates should demonstrate Amplitude’s values of humility, ownership, and a growth mindset, and concretely demonstrate business acumen, executive presence, and financial modeling skills.
As a Senior Value Consultant, you will focus on the following:
Identifying & Framing Business Value- Expertise in Value Consulting Methodologies: Advanced knowledge of value consulting methodologies supporting the entire customer journey from discovery through value realization and optimization, including value assessment, PoV development, and demonstrating platform potential in the context of business goals.
- Business Case and Financial Modeling: Proven track record in creating business cases and conducting financial modeling to support value hypotheses and develop commercial proposals; strong PowerPoint and Excel skills to present findings.
- Strategic Industry Insights: Ability to develop understanding of industry trends to inform customer strategies with use cases and roadmaps.
- Cross-Functional Knowledge: Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders to create an integrated value realization roadmap.
- Conducting Business Value Workshops: Skilled in designing and facilitating workshops to engage customers and define actionable strategies aligned with financial impact projections.
- Use Case Identification and Prioritization: Identify and prioritize customer use cases, define benchmarks to assess key value drivers pre-go-live, and track value realization post-deployment.
- Value Realization Execution: Act as a strategic problem solver helping customers move from current to future state, enabling adoption, renewal, and expansion.
- Project Scope and Timeline Management: Plan and manage scope, expectations, and timelines across concurrent projects, leveraging ecosystem partners when needed.
- High-Level Organization: Oversee multiple projects at different stages of the value journey, ensuring alignment with account objectives.
