Manager – Strategic CFO Advisory Service – Finance & Business Transformation
Join Eisner Amper as a Manager in the Strategic CFO Advisory Service, overseeing large, multi‑faceted client projects and supporting business development through prospecting, client relationship management, and strategic initiatives. - Manage the client engagement team through all phases of a program or project, including strategic planning, work planning, mobilization, execution, and closeout to meet scope, schedule, budget and other contract requirements.
- Manage and review assets leveraged for process mapping, visualization, and data analysis and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into business solutions.
- Review work products, lead walkthroughs, and lead teams to document current and future states of business functions; execute change management efforts related to finance business optimization, visioning, and strategies.
- Manage process design and enhancements that will improve operational efficiency across the engagement organization; identify key stakeholders across the business functions, operations, and other back‑office functions including roles and responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities and recommend methods to improve service, work processes and financial performance (e.g., procedure optimization); assist in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives; facilitate collaboration with external agencies and other stakeholders as needed to enable successful development and implementation of complex project workflow and processes.
- Communicate and work with the client on a variety of issues including progress and status, scope, schedule and budget, engagement team feedback, and progress of deliverables; report to Eisner Amper Advisory leadership on status of client engagements, including all risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Exhibit excellent client service skills including the identification of opportunities to provide additional services to clients and/or non‑clients; support business development activities including client relationship development, program‑specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, presentations, and contract negotiations consistent with established business development processes.
- May be required to occasionally work extended hours and travel to/work from different firm offices and/or client locations.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 5+ years of project management experience directing program and/or project life cycle in large programs and/or strategic initiatives, business operations, information technology, Federal or State programs.
- 5+ years of consulting and/or client service and business development experience.
- 2+ years in a management or supervisory role.
- Technical proficiency at an intermediate or advanced level with the Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities appropriately in an evolving work environment with shifting time frames.
- Able to lead, build, and manage effective teams for small, medium, and large‑scale projects.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.
