About Summit

At Summit, we're on the lookout for talent that doesn't just think "outside the box," but brings their own unique perspective to the table. With our relentless pursuit of excellence and curiosity, we lead innovation in our industry. We humanize technology by actively listening to our clients, crafting tailored proposals, and delivering on the promise of technology with precision and purpose.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer relationships. You'll serve as a primary point of contact for your accounts-partnering closely with internal teams to ensure a strong client experience, drive renewals, identify expansion opportunities, and help clients get maximum value from their Summit solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-obsessed, organized, commercially minded, and comfortable navigating both relationship management and operational follow-through.

What You'll Do:
  • Own day-to-day relationship management for a portfolio of assigned customer accounts
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact-understanding customer goals, aligning expectations, and ensuring a smooth client experience
  • Drive renewal readiness by monitoring account health, contract timelines, and key deliverables
  • Identify and qualify expansion opportunities (additional services, upgrades, increased scope) and coordinate internal resources to support solutions
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering, Operations, and Support teams to coordinate resolution of customer issues and escalations
  • Maintain accurate account notes, activities, and forecast details in the CRM
  • Monitor customer satisfaction signals and escalate risk early with clear recommendations and next steps
  • Support QBRs, account reviews, and customer communications to reinforce value and outcomes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, customer experience, and account management consistency
What You'll Deliver:
  • Strong customer retention and renewal outcomes across your assigned portfolio
  • Clear account plans and renewal/expansion pipelines that are consistently tracked and updated
  • Proactive communications that build trust and reduce customer friction
  • Effective coordination across internal teams to ensure customer issues are handled quickly and professionally
  • Accurate CRM hygiene and timely reporting that supports forecasting and leadership visibility
  • Improved customer satisfaction through consistent follow-through and expectation management
I'm interested...is this the job for me? We are looking for:
  • You're naturally relationship-driven and know how to build trust across a range of stakeholders
  • You stay organized and calm when juggling multiple accounts, priorities, and timelines
  • You're proactive - you don't wait for problems to show up; you look for signals and get ahead of them
  • You can translate customer needs into clear next steps for internal teams (and you follow through until it's done)
  • You're comfortable having commercial conversations (renewals, scope changes, "here's what's possible") without being overly salesy
  • You communicate clearly, professionally, and consistently - especially when things are complex or time-sensitive
  • You're a strong collaborator who cares about outcomes, not just tasks
  • You're curious and improvement-minded: you notice patterns, suggest fixes, and help tighten up how we run accounts
At Summit, our culture and core values are important to us. As a diverse team of passionate pathfinders, we deliver on the promise of technology. If this sparks your interest, we'd love to chat with you!
  • Empower our people
  • Constant elevation
  • Customer first
  • Focus on outcomes
  • Embrace curiosity
