Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading Food Distribution company, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help scale and optimize industry-leading ecommerce and digital platforms that support business operators in complex, operationally intensive environments. In this role, you will own customer-facing digital capabilities that drive ecommerce adoption, operational efficiency, and measurable customer value across a robust omnichannel ecosystem.

You will partner closely with engineering, design, data, sales, marketing, customer success, and operations stakeholders to translate customer insights into high-impact product solutions that improve cost visibility, ordering efficiency, delivery transparency, and profitability.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the product lifecycle strategy for ecommerce and digital capabilities, including discovery, launch, adoption, and optimization
  • Leverage customer feedback, usage data, sales insights, and business KPIs to identify problems worth solving and prioritize the product roadmap
  • Translate ambiguous business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria within an Agile development model
  • Drive development of data-powered and AI-enhanced features, including cost analytics, personalized recommendations, search, and delivery visibility tools
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to support go-to-market planning, including positioning, enablement materials, and launch readiness
  • Define and track sales enablement and adoption KPIs, such as feature attach rate, usage by customer segment, conversion, retention, and expansion
  • Enable Sales and Account teams with product insights, dashboards, and talking points that demonstrate customer value and ROI
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to identify friction points, improve onboarding, and drive time-to-value and long-term adoption
  • Partner with engineering and UX to deliver intuitive, mobile-first experiences that reduce friction and increase customer satisfaction
  • Balance delivery of new strategic capabilities with ongoing technical, performance, and UX improvements
Key Product Areas You May Own
  • Ecommerce ordering and account management experiences
  • Digital tools for cost, profitability, and inventory visibility
  • AI-driven search, merchandising, and product recommendations
  • Omnichannel fulfillment experiences (large orders, small orders, endless aisle)
  • Delivery tracking, notifications, and post-order transparency
What We’re Looking For
  • 5–8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in ecommerce, B2B platforms, or data-driven digital products
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Strong experience working in Agile environments with designers and engineers
  • Demonstrated success using customer insights, analytics, and business KPIs to drive product decisions
  • Experience supporting go-to-market motions and post-launch adoption for customer-facing products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI-enabled or analytics-driven products
  • Background in ecommerce, sales, or operations-heavy domains
  • Experience driving sales enablement, customer adoption, and retention at scale
  • Familiarity with mobile-first or omnichannel product strategies
