OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking an experienced Premier Banking Data & Reporting Analyst (Mass Affluent) to support data-driven decision-making within the U.S. Personal & Business Banking organization. This role is heavily Excel-based and focuses on delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights related to investment sales performance and strategic initiatives within the Mass Affluent segment.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, analytical professional who can work independently, manage non-routine analysis requests, and translate complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 4 days in office strongly preferred)
Contract Length: 12 Months (Extension and FTE Conversion Possible)
Hours:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Pay rate: $58
RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze incoming datasets to identify trends, risks, and performance insights related to investment sales and Mass Affluent banking initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and enhance advanced Excel-based reports and dashboards to support business and strategic decision-making.
Track and report on investment sales performance, metrics, and KPIs.
Break down complex strategic problems and translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
Exercise sound judgment to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within established guidelines and frameworks.
Operate independently, managing non-routine and ad-hoc analysis requests with minimal supervision.
Collaborate directly with the Hiring Manager and key stakeholders to align reporting outputs with business priorities.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all reporting deliverables.
Take on additional analytical or reporting responsibilities as business needs evolve.
5–7+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analytics.
Expert-level Excel proficiency (pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, data validation, complex reporting workflows).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven collaboration and influence skills across business partners.
Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience with
MS Access or similar database tools.Previous retail banking experience.
Previous investment or wealth management experience.
Resumes must clearly detail advanced Excel experience
