Job Overview

The Manager, Corporate Strategy will support Kardigan’s enterprise strategy by driving rigorous analysis, developing insights, and executing strategic initiatives across the company. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, execution-oriented strategist who thrives in ambiguous environments and wants direct exposure to enterprise decision-making in a high-growth biotechnology company.

The Manager will work closely with senior strategy leaders and cross-functional partners to inform strategic choices across corporate strategy, business unit strategy, strategic planning, competitive insights, and new growth initiatives. The Manager may also support the portfolio management team with analyses and research driven by overall capacity and business need.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Conduct market, competitive, and landscape analyses to support enterprise, business unit, disease area, and asset-level strategy decisions
  • Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g., market sizing, scenario modeling, trade-offs) to inform leadership discussions and decision-making
  • Support enterprise strategic planning processes, including annual planning, long-range planning, and ad hoc strategic initiatives, through analysis, synthesis, and preparation of leadership materials
  • Contribute to evaluations of new growth opportunities, partnerships, and adjacent business concepts
  • Prepare high-quality presentation materials for leadership and Board discussions
  • Track progress and performance of strategic initiatives using defined KPIs and metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical, Research, Regulatory, Commercial, Manufacturing/Supply Chain, Finance) to gather inputs and align on recommendations
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and regulatory or scientific shifts relevant to Kardigan’s strategy
  • Manage discrete work streams or projects with increasing ownership and accountability over time
Qualifications And Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree;
    Degree in business or life sciences preferred but not required
  • 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or a related role
  • Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or health technology preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into insights
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience building Excel models and completed structured analyses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity, ownership, and professional maturity
