Summary
The Scintilla Analyst is an active participant in the sales and logistic processes required to service the Walmart account. Responsible for the Walmart sales and insights reporting to identify trends and opportunities for the sales and replenishment team, the ideal candidate will possess data management skills in addition to analysis and reporting skills and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the Walmart Scintilla expert for UWI. Attend monthly Scintilla User Group meetings in Bentonville to learn best practices and share with the Bentonville team.
  • Contribute to the building and be responsible for maintenance of a Scintilla database. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports including sales and share reports and adhoc reports as needed to support sales and replenishment planning and activities for the Walmart Stores, Walmart Canada, dotcom, DSV, and total omni-channel businesses.
  • Provide category recaps for UWI Leadership with insights to sales trends and market share changes based on Scintilla data. Provide inventory reports and data pulls to Replenishment Analysts for weekly DC Pushes and manual order recommendations to Walmart.
  • Support Walmart business managers and UWI for product line reviews, assortment decisions and promotional plan recommendations with thorough analysis and understanding of Scintilla data to identify, quantify, and communicate opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, marketing and others on consumer insights and shopper behavior research projects as requested.
  • Participate in monthly OTIF/SQEP meetings to note possible action to improve OTIF/SQEP related performance.

Education and/or Experience

  • A passion for Cycling and the Outdoors!
  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree or Business Analyst Certification.
  • Major systems experience with Scintilla and Power BI.
  • Advanced Retail Link] a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills,
  • Ability to react to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Team player with ability to work independently with little supervision.

Talent Team Outreach:
Selected candidates will receive an email from our Talent team to discuss their background, experience supporting retail accounts, and interest in the role. This step helps ensure alignment before moving forward in the process.3. Virtual Interview (Microsoft Teams): Candidates will meet with the Hiring Leader and potentially other members of the Sales or Replenishment team to discuss their experience with sales analytics, reporting, and working with large retail customers such as Walmart.4.

Final Onsite Interview (Bentonville, AR):
Finalists will be invited to an onsite interview with members of the Bentonville team. This stage allows candidates to meet cross-functional partners and discuss how data insights, reporting, and collaboration help drive success with the Walmart account.

Throughout the process, we aim to provide candidates with a clear understanding of the role, the expectations of supporting the Walmart business, and the collaborative environment within the Bentonville team.
