Job Description

Compensation

The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $40,590 – $50,740
. Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job‑related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own inventory planning and execution for assigned programs, including min/max strategy, replenishment logic, and exception management.
  • Analyze historical demand, consumption trends, and production signals to anticipate shortages, excess, and obsolescence.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Serve as a planning liaison between Production Control, Procurement, and Sales, influencing decisions through data‑backed recommendations.
  • Manage inventory transactions in Oracle (receipts, transfers, RMAs, adjustments) with full ownership for accuracy and timing.
  • Develop and maintain inventory metrics (turns, service level, aging, variances) and use them to drive action.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen inventory control and planning discipline.
  • Support physical inventory activities and audits with end‑to‑end accountability for reconciliation and follow‑through.
  • Comply with internal procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Support customer consignment inventory audits and related activities, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Partner with internal teams to support consignment‑related process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy, visibility, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in cross‑functional initiatives when directly related to customer consignment inventory management, ensuring primary role responsibilities remain the top priority.
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in customer inventory, consignment, or manufacturing inventory environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (Oracle required).
  • Proficiency in Excel for inventory tracking and analysis.
  • Experience managing consignment inventory with minimal oversight, including reconciliation, forecasting, variance resolution, and customer‑facing accuracy.
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory controls specific to customer‑owned or customer‑dedicated stock.
  • Ability to analyze usage trends and follow replenishment rules proactively to avoid customer disruption and aging inventory.
  • Confident communicator able to resolve discrepancies directly with internal teams and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Business Administration, Data Analytics or Business Analytics background.
  • Experience managing inventory.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis tools).
  • Experience reducing excess or slow‑moving inventory.
  • Experience leading or participating in customer‑facing meetings.
  • Knowledge of inventory KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Experience working in a hybrid (onsite/remote) environment.
