West Monroe is currently seeking a Manager focused on Supply Chain to join our Mergers and Acquisitions practice within our Consumer & Industrial Products Value Creation Group. This role brings expertise advising clients across supply chain and technology assessments, cost-to-serve analysis, and supply chain and operations strategy development. In addition to client delivery, you will contribute to business development and practice growth while helping develop our next generation of consultants.
What you'll do:
Client Delivery
- Lead delivery of engagements, accountable for scope, budget, multiple work streams, deliverables, and overall profitability.
- Manage day-to-day execution, including work planning, team coordination, and ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned to client expectations.
- Serve as a client-facing leader, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with quality assurance, legal, and risk standards.
- Manage multiple projects or work streams concurrently, effectively prioritizing across competing demands.
- Lead account management activities for low-to-moderate complexity clients, supporting account growth and continuity.
- Apply supply chain expertise to solve complex client problems and deliver actionable insights.
- Participate in pursuits and proposal development for new clients and existing accounts, contributing to solutioning, pricing inputs, and client presentations.
- Engage in client conversations to identify follow-on opportunities and support account growth.
- Contribute to farming efforts within existing accounts, helping expand West Monroe's footprint.
- Support development of statements of work, workplans, and pricing approaches.
- Build market presence by contributing to client-facing materials and participating in industry or functional initiatives.
- Mentor and develop Senior Consultants and Consultants, providing coaching, feedback, and day-to-day leadership.
- Serve as a Career Advisor for 1-2 team members, supporting performance management and career development.
- Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and internal knowledge assets.
- Identify opportunities to improve offerings and delivery approaches.
- Actively support recruiting efforts, including interviewing and candidate evaluation.
- Contribute to building an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain advisory, including areas such as supply chain strategy, network & inventory optimization, IBP/S&OP, logistics, sourcing & procurement, production planning, MRP, and/or supply chain technology.
- 2+ years of consulting experience preferred.
- Experience leading full project delivery or major work streams, including scope, budget, and team management.
- Strong project management skills, including work planning, risk management, and delivering against timelines and budgets.
- Experience participating in business development activities, including proposals, pricing inputs, and client presentations.
- Ability to identify and support revenue growth opportunities within client engagements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing executive-level deliverables.
- Data analysis and visualization skills; proficiency in Excel and ability to translate data into insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience in the Consumer & Industrial Products industry preferred.
- Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
