Job Description
As a Sales Consultant Specialist at Asset Mark, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team as they build and nurture new client relationships. The role focuses on facilitating opportunities to increase productivity by managing essential administrative tasks and effectively utilizing various sales software tools.
CompensationBase Salary: $45,000–$65,000. Eligible for an annualized Sales Incentive Plan target up to $30,000 based on performance to clearly stated goals and metrics.
Work ScheduleHybrid schedule; must be close to our office locations in Chicago or Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities- Act as primary sales point of contact for escalated service-related issues and serve as backup resource when sales team members are unavailable.
- Help advisors understand and explain platform fees and costs, and overcome objections they may raise.
- Enhance the consultative process for the wealth management platform and service offering by driving scale and capacity for the sales team to ensure that client needs are met.
- Proactively communicate with advisors, ask insightful questions to identify additional needs, and highlight expanded partnership opportunities.
- Host regularly scheduled webinars to train advisors on the Asset Mark platform and offerings.
- Manage the team’s meeting schedule and proactively encourage attendance at territory meetings.
- Keep up to date with relevant investment information, including platform updates, marketing materials, operational changes, industry news, and market events.
- Build relationships with advisors and deliver strong presentations through effective phone and written communication.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to foster a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proven experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM tools to effectively manage territory and pipeline.
- Experience evaluating managed money platforms.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or finance field.
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Active FINRA Licenses required:
Series 6, 63 and 65 and/or 7 and 66.
