To provide administrative support to the beverage alcohol compliance team's trade practices, promotions/advertising, and licensing functions by researching regulations, preparing and tracking state submissions/approvals, supporting sales licensing processes, and keeping compliance records/tools organized and up to date.

Accountabilities:
  • Prepare, submit, and track state prior-approval requests for advertising/promotions (incl. coupons and sweepstakes), ensuring approvals meet launch timelines.
  • Manage sweepstakes compliance administration (registrations, winners' lists, bonds, and payment requests) as directed.
  • Support sales licensing for new hires and renewals-collect documentation, submit/track applications, request fees, and maintain license records/status updates.
  • Perform general compliance administration (update databases/webpage/resources, file maintenance, SOP/training support, and deadline/task prioritization).
  • Assist the Compliance team by researching and summarizing federal and state beverage alcohol trade practice laws.
Key Metrics & Financial Targets:
  • Ability to follow direction and complete tasks with accuracy from start to finish.
  • Ask relevant questions to confirm understanding of the assignment.
  • Capable of researching relevant beverage alcohol laws and regulations.
  • Prepare clear and concise communications
Own:
  • End-to-end tracking and administration of state prior-approval submissions (ads/promos) and ensuring nothing slips against launch dates.
  • Maintenance of compliance artifacts and records (trade practice matrices, license records, databases/files, webpage/resources) so they stay current and audit-ready.
Influence:
  • Marketing creative development by answering basic advertising compliance questions and identifying what will likely require revisions before submission.
Veto:
  • Submission readiness gate: can halt submission of an ad/promo/sweepstakes/permits/licensing filing if required information, disclosures, or back-up documentation is missing.
Critical Relationships:
  • Broader compliance team, marketing, field sales, finance, legal counsel
  • The broader compliance team, sales and marketing operations
Skills Needed To Be Successful:
  • 0-3 years of regulatory/legal experience
  • Able to work independently and as a team with strong organization and follow through skills
  • Self motivated with exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Discretion handling highly sensitive and strict confidential matters
  • Alcohol industry knowledge is an asset but not required
Compensation:

Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions' location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
    • Competitive annual salary $57,000 - $71,000 in Chicago, IL
