Part Time Night Auditor

We are offering a Night Auditor role at Olympia Hospitality and Hyatt Place Chicago South/University Medical Center.

Shift: Overnight, either 10:00 PM‑6:00 AM or 11:00 PM‑7:00 AM. Position is part‑time. Starting pay: $17.50 per hour.

• Work with and understand financial information and data, performing basic arithmetic functions.
• Cross‑train in other accounting or hotel‑related areas as needed.
• Perform guest services functions (check guests in/out, take reservations, handle write‑ups, etc.).
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports (Daily Operating Report, Discount Programs, Tax Reports, etc.) according to hotel standards.
• Prepare and distribute month‑end reports.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit card activity in a timely manner.
• Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions as required.
• Inform management of any unusual operational or financial events or deviations from policies or procedures.
• Respond to governmental inquiries upon receipt.

• Provide high‑level customer service and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Follow instructions, learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Proficiency in keyboarding and computer technology, including email, MS Word, Excel, and other hotel‑related systems.
• Aptitude with numbers and data analysis.

• Knowledge or experience of accounting principles.
• Prior customer service/hospitality experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
