Role Overview
The SAP Director will drive SAP opportunities from qualification, solutioning, client presentations through negotiation and closure.
Key Responsibilities- Drive SAP opportunities from qualification, solutioning, client presentations through negotiation and closure.
- Serve as single point of contact for opportunity qualification, solution building, pricing, and consultative SAP selling initiatives.
- Generate and execute opportunities, interact with prospective customers through executive meetings, SAP discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow‑up discussions.
- Own and execute the end‑to‑end deal from qualification, solution, client presentations, and negotiation.
- Engage with senior leaders (CxO level) on various solutions and business problems, listen and analyze client requirements, and present compelling SAP solutions and business value messages.
- Hunt new and farm existing accounts for SAP opportunities.
- At least 10+ years of SAP solutioning and services selling experience; proven track record in shaping and solutioning a mix of SAP deals (S/4H, Cloud migration, AMS, Testing, LOB solutions such as S/4 Fashion, SAP AFS, SAP IS‑Retail, Ariba, IBP, SF and BTP).
- At least 3 years as a SAP Sales Practitioner.
- Proven track record in SAP OB/TCV quota‑carrying roles with similar‑sized system integrators.
- Industry alignment with Apparel, CPG, Supply Chain, Fashion, Retail, Merchandising, Inventory Optimization sectors.
- In‑depth experience in SAP’s product ecosystem and industry‑specific solutions.
- Hands‑on sales practitioner role focused on key accounts and serving internal sector/market unit teams.
- Solid storyboarding, storytelling, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Experience managing industry sector and specific accounts, especially in CPG and Retail.
- Experience engaging with senior leaders (CxO level) and presenting SAP services such as Transformation, AMS, and Cloud Migration.
- Understanding of SAP’s latest offerings (Rise, S/4, LOB solutions like Ariba, SFSF, IBP, S/4 Fashion, SAP AFS, SAP IS‑Retail).
- Understanding of SAP business in the sectors mentioned above and nuances of cloud migration.
- Good communicator with experience working with offshore presales and solution teams.
- Exposure to SAP delivery, pre‑sales, or hands‑on sales roles preferred.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
