Role Overview
Capgemini Invent is seeking a Manager in Procurement & Supply Chain Advisory to lead client engagements focused on planning, procurement, and end‑to‑end supply chain transformation
. This role is designed for a consulting professional with strong functional depth and leadership capability who excels in strategy‑led, business‑first transformation
, rather than ERP‑centric or tool‑heavy implementations.
As a Manager, you will own work streams or engagements, lead project teams, and act as a trusted advisor to client leaders—translating complex supply chain and procurement challenges into pragmatic, value‑backed solutions.
Key Responsibilities Client Leadership & Delivery- Lead end‑to‑end procurement and supply chain work streams or engagements, from problem definition through recommendation and execution planning
- Partner with clients to define strategies, target operating models, and transformation roadmaps aligned to business outcomes such as cost competitiveness, resilience, growth, and ESG
- Engage confidently with senior client stakeholders, tailoring insights for procurement, supply chain, and executive audiences
- Translate strategic concepts into pragmatic, executable initiatives, supported by data‑driven insights, business cases, and clear priorities
- Apply a business‑first consulting approach to diagnose challenges and identify value levers across:
- Demand, supply, and inventory planning
- Strategic sourcing and category management
- Supplier collaboration, risk, and performance management
- End‑to‑end supply chain integration and performance improvement
- Support end‑to‑end process optimization, emphasizing intelligence, analytics, and smarter decision‑making rather than manual or ERP‑led redesign
- Leverage data, analytics, and emerging capabilities (including AI where relevant) to improve insight quality, speed, and scalability—without over‑indexing on technology implementation
- Manage, coach, and develop consultants and senior consultants, reinforcing structured problem‑solving and high‑quality delivery
- Contribute to business development, including proposals, client pitches, and opportunity shaping
- Support capability building within the Invent Procurement & Supply Chain practice through thought leadership, offerings, and reusable assets
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain, within management consulting, internal consulting, or a comparable transformation environment
- Strong functional grounding across procurement and end‑to‑end supply chain, including planning and upstream/downstream integration
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing work streams in complex, client‑facing engagements
- Proven ability to synthesize data and insights into clear, compelling client recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort engaging senior leaders
- Experience across broader supply chain domains (e.g., planning, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, analytics)
- Exposure to analytics, AI, or digital enablement in procurement or supply chain contexts (experience over certification)
- Industry experience in consumer products, manufacturing, life sciences, industrials, or related sectors
- MBA or advanced degree

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $64.78/hour - 101.21. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
