The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $40,590 - $50,740.

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for SCs annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria./ppJoin Our Team as an Inventory Control Specialist!/ppThe Inventory Control Specialist is accountable for end-to-end inventory planning, execution, and continuous improvement across assigned programs and stocking locations.

This role requires an experienced professional who can analyze demand signals, anticipate risk, and proactively adjust inventory strategies to support manufacturing, sales, and customer commitments, without creating disruption to production./pp Essential Functions/pp

Key Responsibilities:

Own inventory planning and execution for assigned programs, including min/max strategy, replenishment logic, and exception management/lili Analyze historical demand, consumption trends, and production signals to anticipate shortages, excess, and obsolescence/lili Independently investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsnot just report issues/lili Serve as a planning liaison between Production Control, Procurement, and Sales, influencing decisions through data-backed recommendations/lili Manage inventory transactions in Oracle (receipts, transfers, RMAs, adjustments) with full ownership for accuracy and timing/lili Develop and maintain inventory metrics (turns, service level, aging, variances) and use them to drive action, not just reporting/lili Proactively identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen inventory control and planning discipline/lili Support physical inventory activities and audits with end-to-end accountability for reconciliation and follow-through/lili Comply with internal procedures and documentation requirements./lili

Support customer consignment inventory audits and physical inventory activities as required, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and timely resolution of discrepancies./lili Partner with internal teams to support consignment-related process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy, visibility, and customer satisfaction./lili Participate in cross-functional initiatives when directly related to customer consignment inventory management, ensuring primary role responsibilities remain the top priority./li/ulp

Required Qualifications /pulli
35 years of experience in customer inventory, consignment, or manufacturing inventory environments/lili Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle required)/lili Proficiency in Excel for inventory tracking and analysis/lili Inventory control/lili Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations/lili Demonstrated ability to manage consignment inventory with minimal oversight, including reconciliation, forecasting, variance resolution, and customer-facing accuracy/lili Strong working knowledge of inventory controls specific to customer-owned or customer-dedicated stock/lili Ability to analyze usage trends and follow replenishment rules proactively to avoid customer disruption and aging inventory/lili Confident communicator able to resolve discrepancies directly with internal teams and customers/li/ulp Preferred/pulli
