Sr. Global Procurement Manager, Carling

Role Summary

Lead global procurement team to manage sourcing activity, develop and execute category strategy, source high‑value suppliers from the global market, align strategy with key stakeholders, and deliver positive results. Drive efficient procurement processes, partner with operations to ensure on‑time delivery and high quality, and collaborate with New Product Development and Project Management to understand future demand and maintain a strong supply chain.

• Develop and execute category strategy to optimize the supplier base.
• Drive material savings and avoidance through negotiation, localization, second‑source options, and VA/VE projects; develop competitive and reliable suppliers based on business needs.
• Manage supplier performance, continually improve cost, lead‑time, MOQ, and quality; develop dual sources for key components and strengthen partnerships with key suppliers.
• Lead the global procurement team, ensuring alignment with objectives and efficient processes.
• Support new projects by selecting the right suppliers, managing project timelines, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and cost.
• Sign contracts with key suppliers to protect the business.
• Support plant operations to expedite materials, fulfill customer orders, and grow revenue.
• Optimize team organization structure, build a high‑efficiency, professional procurement team, and maintain full compliance.
• Drive cross‑BU category synergy to maximize savings and continuously improve the supplier base through global benchmarking.
• Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Extensive procurement experience in the automotive industry.
• Global supplier sourcing, negotiation, contract, and management expertise.
• Strong category management skills, including PCBA.
• Excellent time‑management and sense of urgency.
• Customer focus, strong communication, and data‑analysis skills.
• Adaptability and proactivity in responding to changes and new requests.
• Direct report management experience.
• Travel up to 20%.

Salary Range: $140,800 - $203,860. The salary offered will vary depending on your location, job‑related skills, knowledge, and experience.
