Summary
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives to join our Commercial Strategy, Insights, and PMO team. In this role, you will lead strategy, insight generation, and operational enablement initiatives supporting brand strategy enablement, hotel openings & conversions, ramp performance, and commercial performance optimization. You will develop analytical frameworks, identify performance insights, and support enterprise strategies that accelerate hotel activation and improve commercial and brand readiness while partnering across multiple functions to translate complex operational data into actionable business strategies.
The RoleThe Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives leads analytics, insight generation, and strategic initiatives that support Hyatt's hotel Openings & Conversions, commercial readiness, brand readiness, ramp performance, and enterprise growth objectives. This role partners across Development, Commercial Onboarding, Design & Construction, Openings & Conversions, Ramp Strategy, Commercial Performance Optimization, Brand, and Enterprise Analytics teams to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and accelerate hotel activation, brand strategy execution, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities- Develop analytical frameworks, reporting, and insights supporting Openings & Conversions performance, pipeline visibility, commercial readiness, and brand readiness.
- Analyze enterprise datasets to identify readiness gaps, operational risks, and performance opportunities for upcoming hotel openings and conversions.
- Generate insights that support ramp strategy and identify drivers of successful hotel activation and early-stage performance acceleration.
- Develop reporting and analytical tools that measure readiness across key commercial, operational, and brand activation milestones.
- Partner with Commercial Onboarding, Brand, and Operations teams to evaluate readiness indicators and recommend actions that improve hotel activation outcomes.
- Support brand strategy enablement initiatives by providing insights and performance analysis that inform brand deployment, activation planning, and readiness execution for new hotels and conversions.
- Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and productivity tracking tools supporting openings, conversions, brand readiness, and ramp performance initiatives.
- Support enterprise data integrity initiatives by identifying and addressing gaps in hotel attribute, inventory, amenity, and brand‑related data across commercial systems.
- Develop measurement frameworks and performance analytics supporting conversion strategy, brand readiness, and commercial optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Analytics and Strategy & Insights teams to create scalable reporting and analytical solutions that support commercial and brand activation objectives.
- Prepare executive‑ready presentations, analyses, and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making across openings, conversions, brand readiness, and commercial performance initiatives.
- Participate in special initiatives and cross‑functional projects that support Hyatt's growth, openings, conversions, brand strategy execution, and commercial performance objectives.
Experience
Required:
- 8-10 years of experience in strategy, analytics, consulting, commercial operations, or a related field.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and executive communication skills.
Experience Preferred:
- Experience in hospitality, travel, lodging, or related industries.
- Experience supporting hotel openings, conversions, commercial readiness, ramp performance, or brand strategic initiatives.
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI) and SQL.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Analytics, Economics, Data Science, or related field) preferred.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
