Essential Functions
- SUPPORTS the development and execution of sourcing processes, tools, and training to drive sourcing best practices and consistency.
- Ability to help mentor other associates.
- DEVELOPS sourcing initiatives through the introduction of a competitive marketplace, demand management, and supplier consolidation.
- IDENTIFIES and COMMUNICATES cost drivers and trends to create procurement strategies across the category.
- SUPPORTS the sourcing cycle, including supplier identification and selection, price negotiation, contract negotiations, and executive shareholder engagements.
- Participates and applies competitive pricing and bidding practices for multiple strategic sourcing needs.
- Works closely with 4 or more business units and understands their sourcing needs.
- ASSISTS with the competitive bid processes including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- ASSISTS with pipeline planning of strategic sourcing projects.
- MEETS the requirements specified below.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Supplier Management is preferred.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience running sourcing events across multiple industry categories, including professional services, and tech engagements.
- Preferred: Experience ensuring customer requirements are met during the sourcing process.
- Preferred: Experience communicating with senior management and responding to their inquiries and requests.
- Preferred: Experience with a large service provider.
- Preferred: Contract Management Systems experience.
$86,100.00 - $. The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate or annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location, and market and business considerations.
