Launch Manager – Chicago, Illinois
Expedia Group seeks a Launch Manager to manage the end‑to‑end delivery of partner integrations with external B2B travel partners. The role involves project management, stakeholder coordination, and driving the onboarding and certification cycle for partner portfolios.
Responsibilities- Own and drive the full onboarding cycle for your portfolio of partners from contract signing through launch.
- Lead strategic kick‑off calls and complex integration workshops with partners, ensuring a deep understanding of partner requirements and how our solutions meet their business needs.
- Autonomously lead and manage complex, multi‑party implementation projects in a consultative, proactive manner with a solution‑oriented approach.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and other teams to address partner needs, continuously optimizing the overall partner experience and user journey.
- Document, contribute to, and manage process improvements and new initiatives.
- Support and manage pre‑sales activities and participate in high‑stakes RFPs.
- Monitor and report on the status of partner engagements, proactively managing the pipeline and prioritizing launch schedules in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Oversee the partner certification process, providing strategic advice and best practices to ensure partners meet the highest standards and compliance requirements.
- Provide strategic support in pre‑sales activities, including responding to RFPs, shaping proposals, and consulting with prospects on technical and onboarding requirements.
- 3–5years of project management experience, preferably in a technical domain.
- At least 2years of customer‑facing experience working with enterprise customers on technology solutions.
- Quick learner who can develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business, industry and needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with both business and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a dynamic, time‑sensitive environment.
- Multicultural awareness and experience working internationally is a plus.
- Articulate with good presentation and written communication skills.
- Some experience with Salesforce CRM, or a similar cloud‑based CRM, is a great advantage.
- Current PMI certification is highly advantageous.
- Fluent in English;
Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
Chicago, Illinois. Base salary range: $76,500.00 – $, with potential to increase up to $ based on performance.
