* ** Zekelman Industries**, you will play a key role in supporting the organization’s Automated Inventory Management (AIM) program through data management, reporting, and process optimization. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate customer and inventory data, monitoring system performance, and identifying opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and customer service.

You will collaborate closely with the AIM Inventory Manager, IT, Sales, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to support automated replenishment processes and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, onsite role located in Chicago, IL.This role is ideal for a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving operational and process-related challenges through data-driven insights.
** What You’ll Do
*** Administer and maintain data critical to the AIM process, including setup and management of new AIM accounts.
* Identify and resolve data errors, system issues, and tolerance exceptions related to AIM processes.
* Coordinate with internal teams and subject matter experts to troubleshoot and resolve system and process issues.
* Support ongoing AIM processes by monitoring automation workflows and identifying opportunities for optimization.
* Assist the sales team with AIM reserve reviews and material repurposing requests.
* Generate and analyze data related to inventory consumption, replenishment, and overall AIM program effectiveness.
* Review inventory consumption trends and adjust supply planning recommendations to maintain proper inventory balance.
* Document business requirements and support testing for new AIM features and system enhancements.
* Monitor the Agent Replenishment process to ensure materials replenish appropriately to fulfill customer demand.
* Collaborate with IT and business teams on AIM system enhancements and process improvements.
* Participate in testing and implementation of new functionality across the AIM portfolio.
* Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and operational effectiveness.
* Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
** Who You Are
*** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in manufacturing, steel, or industrial environments preferred.
* Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
* Experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with commercial and operational stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Experience with SAP (ECC/APO), EDI systems, and RPA technologies preferred.
* Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance.
