General Function
The Financial Center Manager (FCM) will participate in a comprehensive onboarding and education program, including rotations in Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred, and Sales & Operations Management. Upon completion, the candidate will transition into a Financial Center Manager role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Complete the FCMA roadmap and all onboarding activities from day one to program completion.
- Achieve a Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
- Deepen Consumer and Small Business customer relationships to deliver a memorable experience.
- Maintain working knowledge of Fifth Third’s products, services, processes, and internal resources.
- Apply consultative sales techniques to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Develop an integrated book‑of‑business strategy ensuring all customers receive a Financial Needs Assessment and are matched with the best banker.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and lead a team that supports core values and business strategies.
- Foster a One Bank culture that collaborates with business partners.
- Engage in community‑benefiting activities.
- Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Provide employees with timely, candid, and constructive feedback.
- Support employee development toward full potential and offer growth opportunities.
- Recognize and reward employee accomplishments.
Skills and Abilities
Required
- College degree or two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills representing Fifth Third Bank.
- Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
- Proficiency in executing and coaching sales activities.
- Business acumen and sound decision‑making ability.
- Requirement to register for the S.A.F.E. Act through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at commencement of employment.
Normal office environment, extended computer screen use, periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training.

CompensationAnnual total base pay range: $45,100.00 – $85,600.00 USD.
