Operations Manager
Job Overview
The Performance Coach joins the HR Operations team to deliver exceptional employee experiences across the performance services lifecycle. The role collaborates closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent, compliant, and compassionate handling of critical employee matters.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver end‑to‑end targeted coaching and training to managers on performance services best practices and feedback delivery techniques.
- Assist managers with drafting and executing written warnings, clarifications of expectations, performance plans, terminations, and reductions in force.
- Provide individual mentoring and skill‑building support to managers to improve their performance services capabilities.
- Partner with employee relations, legal, and HR partners to resolve performance services issues.
- Utilize Workday process documentation to ensure performance services consistency.
- Leverage performance services tools, including CAI, to help managers role‑play and execute difficult conversations.
- Support Workday system upgrades and process enhancements by testing functionality, gathering user feedback, and recommending improvements.
- Use Workday data and advanced analytics to generate actionable insights on performance trends, operational efficiency, and organizational capability gaps.
- Present findings and improvement recommendations to stakeholders using data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Ensure all performance services activities maintain 100% compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while optimizing operational efficiency.
- Support conflict resolution processes by providing thorough documentation, analysis, and evidence‑based recommendations.
- 5+ years HR experience with a demonstrated history in performance services, process improvement, or operational roles focusing on performance excellence.
- Proven experience in performance services and operational excellence.
- Strong project services skills and the ability to simplify the complex.
- Knowledge of performance services methodologies and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in Workday, Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent coaching, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Estimated range: $90,000.00 – $ USD per year. Final compensation packages are determined by candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
