Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Create organic growth through prospecting within designated geography and across existing clients.
- Engage in consistent joint calling efforts with other lines of business partners.
- Work with internal constituencies to bring appropriate expertise to the client/prospect.
- Partner with Marketing to develop region‑specific calling efforts.
- Schedule and execute sales calls and appropriate follow‑up meetings and activities.
- Develop professional business‑appropriate relationships in the community that positively impact the region’s business results.
- Actively participate in regional civic activities.
- Achieve sales goals and manage pipeline activities.
- Track, report, and communicate business results and activities to internal FFB management.
- Develop and sustain “Clients for Life.”
- Handle all transactions within the Retail environment: running a teller drawer, opening checking accounts, and inputting consumer and small‑business loan applications.
- 5years of experience exceeding sales goals.
- Consultative, needs‑based selling success.
- Strong product knowledge of consumer and commercial deposits, investments, consumer loans, business loans, and treasury management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across other line of business.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong outside‑business calling skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to speak in front of larger audiences.
- Familiarity with consumer and small business credit.
- Operate in a newly acquired territory with limited brand awareness.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, compliance, and branch leadership.
- Resolve moderately complex issues and raise to higher levels when needed.

- Acts independently to resolve customer and operational issues within delegated authority.

- Travel locally and occasionally to corporate headquarters or other bank locations.
- Work extended periods sitting or standing; operate standard office equipment.
- Lift up to 25lbs occasionally.
The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by state and federal law and regulation, and all related bank policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, and all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
Development and Training Pay Range$74,000 – $98,000 annually.
