Job Description
Linked In is searching for a People Manager to lead our Process Improvement Engine team within Strategic Planning & Initiatives, part of Go-to-Market Operations. This team drives transformational programs and initiatives to enhance our Sales Processes and unlock efficiencies and growth for the LMS (Linked In Marketing Solutions) business. The role is hybrid, performed both from home and from an office on select days.
It will be based in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, or Sunnyvale.
- Own end-to-end program lifecycle, from hypothesis data analysis and recommendation development to decision‑making and stakeholder engagement.
- Coach and mentor team members on program and change management frameworks and best practices.
- Build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, setting up the team for success.
- Act as program lead to ensure proper setup, risk mitigation, adequate training, and measurement of program success through KPIs.
- Provide regular updates on program performance and ensure stakeholder communication and visibility.
- Proactively identify and create mitigation strategies for risks within the program portfolio, in partnership with key stakeholders and cross‑functional peers.
- Invest heavily in the team, learning from each other’s experiences and raising the bar.
- Think like an owner, demonstrating leadership and producing results that scale business outcomes.
- Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in program / project management / management consulting / sales or go‑to‑market operations / process improvement or comparable functions; 2+ years in people management, leading and coaching teams; BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical or related field; knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Preferred Qualifications: Effective time and task management; experience in high‑growth, performance‑focused environments; excellent collaboration, influence, organizational, and program management skills; ability to define ambiguous problems and drive outcomes; data presentation skills; strategic thinking and consultative, data‑driven solutions; ability to influence cross‑functional teams; experience with CRM, sales, and data visualization tools; AI fluency; knowledge of key sales processes and best practices; process and workflow design;
SQL or other programming languages; experience in digital advertising or marketing; PMP or Six‑Sigma certification.

Linked In is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $126,000 to $204,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
