Responsibilities- Own regional business development priorities with Arch’s business units and agency/broker partners that support growth strategies.
- Utilize internal and external data platforms to analyze progress of priorities; recommend refinement of priorities to more appropriately align with the current market environment.
- Serve as a single point of contact for agents/brokers in the region for product support, appetite awareness, quality service, opportunity assessments, and the overall fulfillment of multiline needs.
- Generate new and deepen current relationships to meet or exceed revenue goals with distribution partners and agents that align with Arch’s appetite and product suite.
- Manage regional strategic plans with key national brokers.
- Collaborate with Arch’s business units to develop and manage a dynamic prospect list that supports business development and cross‑selling opportunities.
- Be the face of Arch in the region by increasing visibility with distribution partners, trade shows, local associations, and networking events.
- Own the coordination of regional events and networking opportunities to increase visibility and expand the Arch brand.
- Identify market opportunities for new solutions and underserved territories with regional distribution partners.
- Participate in the constant improvement of partner management and producer appointment processes.
- Support a positive distribution team culture by embodying Arch’s values and behaviors.
- Existing relationships in the local agency/brokerage communities.
- Successful experience developing and implementing growth strategies.
- 10+ years in P&C sales, broking, underwriting, or marketing management.
- Experience managing retail and/or wholesale distribution channels.
- Strong client engagement and relationship management skills.
- B.A./B.S. preferred.
For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is $157,400 - $212,436/year. Position is incentive eligible. Total individual compensation (base salary, short‑ and long‑term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope and responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability and specialization as well as business needs.
The above pay range may be modified in the future.
