Overview

DLA Piper is a bold, exceptional, collaborative and supportive organization. This role supports firm practice leaders and lawyers, C-suite, and other marketing team members to manage webinars and related marketing activities showcasing the firm’s thought leadership and brand differentiators. The position is responsible for webinar intake, planning, promotion, and execution. The role requires an agile self-starter with strong critical thinking and exceptional attention to detail, capable of prioritizing and completing simultaneous projects with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.

The Marketing Operations team drives operational excellence in support of firm priorities, collaborating with the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations on tactically complex, cross-department initiatives.

Location

This position can sit in the following offices with a hybrid work schedule:
Chicago, Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia, Phoenix, or Raleigh.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison for webinar support and primary point of contact to drive webinar execution by joining planning calls, drafting electronic invites, scheduling tech runs, coordinating email schedules, requesting CLE credits, attending webinars, and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Prioritize competing deadlines, anticipate client needs, and proactively troubleshoot to deliver accurate and valuable services on time.
  • Provide support to the firm’s webinar programs with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including cross-functional coordination for logo placements, branded content creation, and presence during webinars.
  • Utilize company resources to complete tasks.
  • Assist in compiling presentations, key metrics, and reports for leadership.
  • Utilize Service Now to track workflow;
    Inter Action and MS Dynamics for CRM; and the Zoom webinar platform.
  • Assist with day-to-day requests such as bio updates, reports, and research in accordance with SLA turnaround times.
  • Actively participate in lawyer meetings as requested or appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of webinar operations and marketing; proven ability to manage firm webinars.
  • Proficiency with Zoom or other webinar platforms; familiarity with Service Now is a plus.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to meet moving deadlines.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external contacts, including practice and firm leaders.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, particularly CoPilot.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing and/or business development in a law firm or professional services environment; webinar and project management experience required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. Work is largely computer-based with potential for hybrid in-office and remote arrangements as determined by the hiring manager and firm discretion.
