Location:

Hybrid, Chicago, IL

Expected start date to end date:
July 2025 – July 2026

We are seeking a Business Operations intern to join our Sales Performance Management team. This role is ideal for recent college students or graduates with a degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Communications or related fields.

The intern will support two teams:
Services and Customer Success. Responsibilities include building analytics solutions, responding to ad‑hoc reporting requests, establishing a regular reporting cadence, collaborating cross‑functionally, streamlining operational processes, and elevating customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enablement for Forecasting Tools
  • Project Reviews (Financial Issues)
  • Create and review Revenue Accuracy Report
  • Provide biweekly updates on Leadership team calls
  • Monthly Delivery Business Review
  • Actuals, Utilization, Project Reviews, missing time, accuracy tracking
  • Build and manage a regular reporting publication cadence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and formulate reporting requirements
  • Review and analyze business metrics and summarize findings and potential actions.
  • Edit and publish periodic newsletters and status reports.
  • Renewal Forecasting: assist in preparing and maintaining renewal forecasts.
  • Own and manage the renewal master forecast file for the SPM CSM team.
  • Data analysis and reporting: fulfill ad hoc data requests, analyze trends, support dashboards and KPIs.
  • Content management & enablement: develop a strategy, build or implement a platform such as SharePoint.
  • Customer Success Operations support: document and optimize key processes.
  • Support internal communications by crafting newsletters and training documentation.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: partner with Sales Ops, Support, Marketing, and Product teams.
What you bring

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, stays curious, works on meaningful innovative projects, and is energized by lifelong learning.

Required Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related office suite of products.
  • Experience in Microsoft SharePoint to build functional, user-friendly sites.
  • Comfortable producing graphical reporting with business narrative.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Detail‑oriented, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
  • Self‑starter with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous internship or work experience.
  • Pursuing a BS or BBA with upper‑class status in Business, Math, Finance, Accounting, or related backgrounds.
  • Willing to work in an office environment.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills such as VLOOKUP, data export, and pivot tables.
  • Self‑starter.
