About the RoleThe Director of Business Development leads accentedge’s growth across pharma, federal, and health-system channels, building partnerships that deploy ABCD and doctari with comprehensive cancer centers, major pharmaceutical organizations, and the U.S. Federal Government.
Key Responsibilities- Own the BD strategy and pipeline across pharma, federal, and health-system segments.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals and strategic partnerships.
- Represent accentedge in executive and partner briefings (boardroom and visitor conference).
- Build and lead a small sales/BD team (4 staff).
- Partner with Clinical, Regulatory, and Product to shape compliant commercial offerings.
- 8+ years in business development or enterprise sales in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences.
- Track record closing complex partnerships with pharma, health systems, and/or government.
- Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to navigate regulated procurement.
- Federal/government contracting experience.
- Network within comprehensive cancer centers or pharma.
- Experience selling AI/SaaS or diagnostics.
Chicago-based hybrid role with frequent partner travel; works from the commercial zone with direct adjacency to the boardroom and main visitor conference room.
