Responsibilities
This is a six to twelve month program with potential to be hired full time. The position acts as a support person in the Regulatory Reporting, Delivery and Change Management departments. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include tasks from all three departments.
- Verification of open interest/position management adjustments on CME, ICE US, CME large trader and CFTC large trader adjustments
- Verification of delivery positions
- Assist with any audit required for regulatory reporting
- Document storage
- Assist with any projects as requested
- Ensure alerts are addressed and manager notified
- Notify manager of any discrepancy in an expiring or in‑notice position
- Assist with updating and writing procedures and documents workflow
- Participate in local projects to optimize daily tasks
- Identify possible improvements, manage projects
- Collect and formalize requirements to implement improvements; participate in design, testing, implementation of solutions
- Participate in implementation of organizational or technical solutions to optimize processing
- Work with clients, account executives, business managers, and operation teams to manage projects and define business requirements
- Follow up on assigned projects/tasks to ensure business needs are met
- Perform user acceptance testing of in‑house or third‑party applications prior to production deployment
- Create or update functional support documents
- Analyze functional processes and procedures; manage issues and propose solutions
- Participate in definition, implementation, and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators for Operations Department
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
Desired / Plus:
Comprehensive understanding of futures products and physical deliverable products.
Competencies:
Estimates risks or opportunities of own actions; organizes follow‑up; identifies efficiency opportunities; accepts challenging assignments; explains change implementations; provides extra support as needed.
Desired: 1+ years of applicable experience.
Educational Requirements:
Studies in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or other quantitative subjects preferred.
Must be able to start at 6:00 AM CST.
