A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice, with offices throughout the U.S., focuses on serving middle‑market and large‑cap private equity firms who have engaged A&M to help improve operating results at their portfolio companies. Our professionals are aligned with a PEPI service line to promote deep functional skills and experiences and to maximize our ability to tailor solutions to solve our clients’ business issues.

Associates are responsible for executing core analyses that underpin investment‑grade insights for private equity clients.

• Conduct primary and secondary market research
• Build analytical models (market sizing, growth drivers, competitive dynamics)
• Support expert interviews, surveys, and customer research
• Produce high‑quality Excel analyses and PowerPoint materials
• Ensure accuracy, documentation, and analytical rigor under tight timelines

• Reliable analytical execution

• Rapid learning curve across industries and business models

The salary range is $90,000–$130,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.

Full‑time employees (30+ hours per week) are entitled to participate in A&M’s fringe benefits including healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a discretionary contribution from A&M. Employees also receive paid time‑off, including vacation, personal days, 72 hours of sick time (prorated for part‑time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
