Job Description
Senior Business Analyst, Tax Product Development (Senior) responsible for analyzing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement, developing strategic solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement new systems or process changes. Often leads projects and provides expert insights to guide decision-making at a high level within an organization.
Job Duties- Gathers requirements and conducts business analysis for technology solutions
- Creates detailed business requirements documents, and diagrams on respective tax products and capabilities
- Identifies business needs, evaluating market trends, and developing high-level strategies to enhance product experience and usability for tax products
- Conducts a thorough needs analysis, eliciting detailed requirements from stakeholders, and translating them into clear specifications for product development
- Acts as the voice of the customer to guide development and product support efforts
- Creates comprehensive business cases with cost-benefit analysis to justify proposed solutions and gain buy-in from stakeholders
- Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders, effectively communicating project updates, and addressing concerns
- Identifies opportunities to optimize business processes, designing, and implementing new workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Provides backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories

- Bachelor's degree with a focus in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Finance, or Accounting, required
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Finance, or Accounting, preferred
- A four‑year or more experience as a Business Analyst with a proven track record on complex projects
- Experience in project planning, execution, and monitoring, to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops or Atlassian
- Familiarity with relevant software tools, such as business intelligence platforms, data analysis software, and project management tools
- Ability to work well in hybrid and remote environments
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- In‑depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Ability to identify root causes, develop creative solutions, and navigate complex business challenges
National Range: $80,000 - $140,000
Maryland Range: $80,000 - $140,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $80,000 - $140,000
