Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Reporting to the Senior Director Health and Safety, you will lead the deployment, implementation, and governance of safety programs that advance a safe, compliant, and injury‑free work environment across a collection of manufacturing locations. You will guide safety strategy, influence leadership, understand risk, and drive world‑class performance through proactive programs and rigorous compliance efforts.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities- Lead the planning, deployment, and coordination of safety programs and services across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Direct safety and health initiatives to focus on risk, reduce incident rates, limit financial losses, and eliminate occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and workers’ compensation regulations while improving key performance indicators.
- Ensure field location compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Act as a liaison between Senior Management, Plant Leadership, and employees regarding safety and health matters.
- Set safety objectives and goals for field locations.
- Oversee reporting mechanisms for injuries, workers’ compensation, serious incidents, and environmental releases to ensure accuracy and alignment with company expectations.
- Analyze financial, expenditure, and operational reports to determine improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to Senior Management.
- Support the recruitment process for facility Environmental Health & Safety Managers, including interviewing and providing hiring input.
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health or related field;
Master of Science preferred. - Professional health and safety certification desirable.
- Ten years of progressive safety experience, including at least five years supporting multiple locations in a corporate‑level role.
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment supporting multiple locations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Travel up to 50%.
Pay Range: $135,000 - $200,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
