Grounded Health is an early-stage health technology company building predictive tools that help people stay ahead of their mental health. By turning data from wearables like Oura into early-warning signals, our technology is designed to detect the physiological changes that precede a mood episode — often days before a person feels them — so users and their care teams can act early rather than react late.

Founded on lived experience and grounded in clinical science, we're building a wellness companion that treats mental health as physical health.

• Build and maintain our core financial model — revenue projections, fixed and variable costs, etc
• Translate assumptions into clean, defensible projections for the pitch deck, accelerator milestones, and investor diligence.
• Track actual spend against forecast and flag where reality is diverging from the plan.
• Turn analysis into clear summaries and visuals that help the team make faster, better-informed decisions.

• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel/Sheets — able to build a model from a blank sheet, not just maintain an existing one.
• Solid grasp of financial statements and how pricing, costs, and revenue assumptions flow through them.
• Comfort with ambiguity and incomplete information; able to make and clearly state reasonable assumptions rather than wait for perfect data.
• Interest in unit economics and subscription/SaaS-style metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, margin) — or the appetite to learn them fast.
• Effective communication: can explain what a model says and why it matters, in writing and out loud, to non-finance teammates.
• Enrollment in or completion of coursework toward a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Genuine interest in health technology, mental health, or early-stage startups is a big plus.
