Proposal Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and lead proposal process for State Government opportunities.
• In this role, the PM brings together all stakeholders associated with the pursuit to submit a winning proposal package.
• Own the proposal process and work closely with Capture Managers, Sales Leaders, Product Subject Matter Experts, and Writers.
• Ensure RFP responses are timely, strategic, high quality, and meet customers' needs.
• Manage all aspects of proposal process including schedule, outsourcing, meetings, draft reviews, quality, graphics, and production.
• Develop, organize, and manage proposal process using MS Excel.
• Collaborate with internal organizations to develop proposal content.
• Ensure proposal compliance with RFP requirements.
• Conduct reviews of the proposal; work with team members to review content, provide feedback and guidance for changes.

• Proposal management background.
• State agency and/or federal agency background with RFP support.
• Health care technology.

• 5+ years in State or federal proposal experience.
• Strong communication at all levels, ability to meet tight deadlines, commitment to teamwork, detailed follow-through, and positive demeanor.

• Shipley experience.
• APMP experience.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to lead a proposal team.
• Shipley/APMP certification.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate Range - $40-$60/hr
