Overview

As the Senior Director, Product Management, you will be responsible for advancing product offerings that connect two sides of a growing market: marketers and publishers who want to monetize their data and brands who want trusted access to that data to power their marketing. This is a new role in the organization reporting to the VP of Product.

To achieve success in this role, you will build revenue opportunities by making these data collaborations valuable, easy and repeatable. You will need to translate the needs of both data owners and data buyers to a broad cross‑functional set of internal partners, prioritizing what will enable growth for Epsilon. As part of this role, you will be asked to set product strategy, engage with a large set of partners and manage KPIs that measure success.

The leader selected for this role will need to deeply understand what collaborators are trying to accomplish, why it matters to their business, and how to translate that into products that generate revenue. Knowledge of the intersections between cloud data warehouses, clean room technology and the applications being built on top of them is required. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of the data privacy landscape and how it is affecting the Mar Tech and AdTech industries.

The individual will need to grasp how the market for data collaboration is evolving, where the demand is heading, and demonstrate a strategic vision for how brands and data owners will transact with one another in the future of the Advertising Technology and Media ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible to develop a vision and set the strategic direction of Epsilon’s Clean Room collaboration features to ensure they align with client needs, business growth, and overall technology strategy.
  • Define product requirements, roadmaps and backlog, including things such as feasibility, effort, financial impact (revenue / cost savings) and strategic value.
  • Own and drive the whole product lifecycle from design, development, and launch, through cross‑functional partnerships across the organization.
  • Ensure the Marketing team is aligned with Product strategy on market positioning, product ideation/realization, hiring/training programs, and product management work products.
  • Critical partner to other Product & Marketing collaborators across the business, communicating plans, elevating questions, and paving our path forward; leveraging your knowledge of the market to influence the business and connect the dots for key interested parties to drive increased alignment.
  • Research and offer recommendations to keep the Product organization on a path of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Deep industry knowledge of the role of data to drive Marketing and Advertising strategies.
  • A minimum of 7 years in a Product role focused on Data Driven Advertising or Data Clean Rooms.
  • Strong collaboration skills and commitment to interdisciplinary thinking, with the ability to work across teams focused on strategy, technology, and data in service to new product solutions.
  • Must be able to lead product transformation visioning and roadmap, while at the same time being comfortable in rolling up sleeves and lead the day‑to‑day activities.
  • Successful managing and delivering a wide variety product solution to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills.
  • Proven experience influencing a business or marketing strategy through the application and/or management of competitive information, market awareness and product positioning.
  • Ability to think strategically and ‘big picture’, to formulate appropriate product solutions to solve client business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and adept at developing relationships across diverse teams (including statistical, technical, and marketing resources).
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and innovative.
  • BA/BS degree. Advanced degree and/or MBA desirable.
