We are building an AI-native investing platform that helps everyday investors better understand global financial markets through data, research, and intelligent insights. We're looking for an experienced quantitative researcher with deep options market expertise to help transform large-scale options data into signals, analytics, and educational insights used by thousands of investors. If you've built options analytics, volatility models, dealer positioning metrics, or market intelligence products, we'd love to talk.
Whatyou will do
- Research and develop proprietary options-based market signals
- Analyze large-scale OPRA options data across equities and ETFs
- Design indicators that explain market positioning before major events
- Build analytics around earnings, macro events, ETF flows, and volatility regimes
- Work closely with software engineers to product ionize research
- Create intuitive explanations that translate complex options activity into insights retail investors can understand
- Continuously validate and improve signal quality
- 4+ years in quantitative research, derivatives research, or options analytics
- Strong understanding of:
Options pricing, Greeks, Volatility surfaces, Dealer hedging mechanics, Market microstructure - Experience working with OPRA or institutional options datasets
- Experience with SQL and large datasets
- Ability to independently research new market signals
- Market making experience
- Proprietary trading experience
- C++, Rust, or Go
- Machine learning experience
- Experience building financial products for retail investors
You'll help create a next-generation options intelligence platform that converts institutional-grade market data into actionable, understandable insights for individual investors. Rather than simply displaying charts, you'll help explain why markets are moving and what options markets may be pricing in.
